Google launches ICS and Galaxy Nexus, Makes Google Plus A Major Feature

Today in  Hong Kong, Google and Samsung launched the latest and greatest Android smartphone the Galaxy Nexus, along with Ice Cream Sandwich, the new version (4.0) of Android.

If you head over to google.com/nexus you'll see all the features laid out for you and a couple of things jumped out at us.

1) Google+ is a feature.

Google+ has been given pride of place among the features that show off the capabilities of Google and Samsung's new phone.

The screenshot is slightly different from the current version of the Google+ app.

2) Face Unlock

"Unlock your phone with a smile"

Going out on a limb here, but what are the bets that this could be tied into Google+ at some point?

Remember Google wants to make Plus an identity service. Hmm...
