Google+ Usage Poll. 71% claim that they "never leave".

We created a Google+ Poll that asked a simple question. How much time on average do you spend on Google+ everyday?

We used Google Docs for the Poll and put the form up here. The question had the following possible answers:

  • < 10 minutes
  • < 30 minutes
  • < 1 hour
  • 1-3 hours
  • 3-5 hours
  • 5+
  • I never leave

We added a note that said:

This is by YOUR definition and could include (for example), Desktop and Mobile use of plus.google.com, as well as mobile apps, interacting with Notifications, sharing into Google+, etc.

We posted a link to the Poll up on Google+ here. There was a great response with the post being shared a total of 323 times. (see the Google+ Ripple here

We have had a total of 14, 324 responses (at the time of writing, the Poll is still live) and you can see the full results here

From the results it looks very much as though Google+ users spend a significant amount of time using Google+, with some 71% claiming that they "never leave"(!) and 12% stating that they use it for at least 5 hours a day. If you include the 71% that claim to never leave, that figure rises to a frankly huge 83% of Google+ users that spend 5+ hours a day using the site.
