Google+ Community Survey: The Results

We ran a survey that asked Google+ users several questions about their usage of Google+ Communities.

Here's the results of that Survey.

There's several interesting results, but the big news is the levels of engagement.

  • 61% of Google+ users have joined 11+ Communities
  • 59% have created 11+ Communities
  • 59% are "actively involved" in those Communities
  • 59% moderate Communities

However the majority of those who responded are unsure how this has affected their overall use of Google+ and were unable to say whether their usage had increased.

The survey is still open and you can view the original survey and the up-to-date results at the links below:

Overall, a very positive start for this new Google+ feature and Google must be very happy with the levels of engagement.
